MY FIRST STAY

Aha!what a new world

A stranger I am to everyone including myself

No one understands me except a few

Eyes on me in every move I make

Will I fit in this environment?

Hello ! Hey !All I speak but in vain

Will I be able to make friends?

Friend making my move, yes I will

"Watindata" is the greeting they understand

Will I fit in this environment?

Due to the pathetic decease

Rules levied by the government are strict

Anywhere in the compound are posters

"Thambe moko" I need wits to understand

Will I fit in this environment?

The air is full of kamba language

A desert I have found myself

Subati my new location

I will learn to love my environment

And find my position in it.

In a house I am alone

Was used to seeing many people around

Now the room is almost empty

At the center of the house I am silent

Silent but my pen to remain noisy.

Searching for green pasture in a desert my mission

My motto being "Never give up"

Hopefully to meet my targeted goals

To get my treasures in the desert

Yes! I'll strangle to fit in this environment.
