CITY LIFE

 The city ever busy

No one finds it easy
Every morning always walking
No one has time to seat talking

With papers office to office you walk
Busy in search of work
Job positions they post just for formality
The ignorance of your application is normality

Many shift to be hawkers
The uniformed men behave as hackers
Your provisions they take keeping you on toes
They don’t consider your hustle to give you a pose

A shop is set a blaze
The uniformed are seated in their base
No rushing in time to rescue
Instead they come late to join the viewing queue

Not long was the dormitory burning
Today its shops and houses burning
They said the students were tired schooling
Are the shop keepers tired of selling?

We should strive hard for good future is our care
For life now seems unfair
Let our eyes and ears remain open
Before the worst seems to happen
