HAPPY BIRTHDAY KING JESUS

 

His anniversary is nearing

This is all am hearing

I’m not sure the age He’s turning

But His day is always charming

 

In Bethlehem is born a King

Before the crown I give my ring

A young virgin His mother

It’s rare today to get another

 

He is fathered by a carpenter

To us He is a mentor

He whose birth disturbs the powerful

Herod lacked peace even if the palace was beautiful

 

The child was rejected by many

I think they expected some money

The innocent is born in a manger

Truly He comes to be our major

 

Emmanuel to be His name

And forever to shine His fame

A man who is always right

His mercies I see and write

                                      

On Christmas a king is born

This day all candles ill burn

A night that cows couldn’t take their hay
