ALONG WAY DOWN
A LONG WAY DOWN
Life is a long journey of stories
Ridges and hills full of mysteries
I knock on each door only to find thorns
I try to move I get knocked by stones
I may not withstand myself in the mirror
As some see that to be minor
Life journey is full of humor
Sometimes those shades I feel to hummer
Situations came and holds me down
At that point, I was heading to my crown
In dilemma I am, choices I had to make
Cruel or soft, consequences I'll take
OH this train is full of friends
To some, I followed their trends
On this train, sin scratched and left me in tears
Living me with unseen scars
On the long way, I meet the junction
To the memories they bring congestion
Trying now to mend my ways
In His favor, I'll strike always
Life is full of history
To which I'll mend my Mistry
Today my life is full of shame
Tomorrow I'll fill my fame.
This train was heading to hell
But I smell the end is well
Life lead me to Him
He who loved me before I knew Him
It's long I've been in search of my gown
Indeed it's A LONG WAY DOWN
Now that I have found His thrown
I'm humbled He dress me my crown
